Baked Mostaccioli

Yes, that's right... I'm cooking again. Watch out :-)

I used to get this at the Cafe Di Napoli in Minneapolis, and it was delicious. They went out of business, but luckily it's pretty easy to make!

First, brown some hamburger.

Add spaghetti sauce (my favorite brand is Bertolli cause it's yummy) and stir.

Prepare pasta as directed (mostaccioli, penne, or any other kind like that... I'm sure elbow macaroni or bowties would work just as well) and mix with meat sauce.

Pour into a casserole dish and cover with mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes. (I also took this opportunity to throw a couple of loaves of frozen French bread in the oven on a rack under the casserole dish.) For the last two minutes, I set the oven to "broil" to brown up the top of the cheese.

And there you go! If I had been better prepared, I would have had lettuce and such to make a salad, but alas, I am me and this ended up being a pretty carb-y meal. It was tres yummy, though! :-)
